Individual Health

With Healthcare Reform and the industry’s ever-changing landscape, we still have options to choose from. Whether you are looking for better coverage, recently uninsured or it’s your first-time purchasing health insurance; we will help you find a high quality, affordable plan. Depending on your budget and need, we will custom design a plan for you. Whichever fits you best; Major Medical-ACA Compliant, Term, Fixed Benefit and Guaranteed Issue plans are all available.

Even if your employer offers coverage, an individual plan could still be the best option for you. Additionally, dependent coverage through your employer may not always be the most affordable option.

Customizing your coverage is essential as health insurance is not a “one size fits all” type of product. Therefore, we will assist you in determining what will work best for your situation. With all the different deductible options and product designs, choosing the right plan could be difficult and our mission is to simplify this process.

Major Medical

Major Medical plans are also called; Marketplace plans, and Affordable Care Act, ACA plans. These plans offer comprehensive health coverage and will cover preventative, pre-existing conditions and maternity. These plans have high deductibles and are expensive if you don’t qualify for a subsidy to help pay for a plan. You can only apply for Major Medical plan during Open Enrollment or if you have a qualifying event that gives you a 60-day special enrollment period.

Term Medical Plans

Term Plans are a great option if your healthy. They have lower deductibles, are less expensive than major medical plans and have nationwide PPO networks for doctors. Term Plans are available for three months to three years, depending on your state regulations. Term plans will not cover pre-existing conditions or maternity. You must qualify medically for a term plan and they can start next day.

Fixed Benefit Plans

Fixed Benefit Plans are a newer option that emerged when healthcare reform passed. They have no deductible, no copays and no coinsurance. They pay first dollar coverage, so you don’t have to meet a deductible before coverage starts. Fixed benefit plans pay a set amount when you use medical services and are guaranteed renewable up to age 65, regardless of changes to your health. You must qualify medically to be eligible and they do not cover pre-existing conditions in the first year.
